SCHEDULED EVENTS

General Meetings - 2nd Friday of each month (except July, August and December)

General meetings are held at Calavera Hills Recreation Center (see maps page) from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. These meetings are open to the public and generally feature a guest demonstrator working in a specific media. Refreshments are served.

Annual High School Art Show - April

Open to local High School students, this show is coordinated by Diane Adams.
Awards are given, including a scholarship.

18th ANNUAL CHILDREN'S ART SHOW AT THE COAL GALLERY

Coordinated by Mary Anne Bloom, Director of Children's Shows.

Open to local children in grades K through 8. Awards are given.

Entries will be accepted at the COAL Gallery on April 27 from 1 to 4 PM.

Show Reception: Sunday May 11th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM

"Local Color" Theme - July

In addition to our regular display of art, there will be a themed show: Local Color in which our artists will present scenes from around Carlsbad and Oceanside, as well as many North County San Diego cities. Art in this show will include marine art, beach scenes, lagoon images, local landmarks, and the people and memorable spots of our local areas.

If you or someone you know is an art collector interested in local scenes,
be sure to feast your eyes on Local Color.
