Artwork Information:

This pastel painting is done on Wallis sanded paper, as a demonstration during a class I was teaching. It was from a photo taken on a camping trip to Yellowstone National Park. I was showing an example of how pastel pencils can be used on details, as shown on the bark and roots of the tree.
